Claw toe is a deformity condition, where patient’s toes bend into a claw like position. This deformity can be present from birth, or it can be developed later on. In most cases, it is not uncomfortable; it is not a serious problem. Claw toes is sometimes a result of nerve damage. Diabetes or alcoholism can lead to nevrve damage.

Symptoms

  • Toes look like claw, ( Toe joints closest to ankle point up, while other toe joints bend down.)
  • Discomfort wearing shoes that squeeze your toes
  • Hard corns may delvelop over the top of the toe.
